Welcome! I’m Amber, Studio Owner and Instructor at Sacandaga Dance and Gym, and the friendly face you’ll see when you walk through the doors each day. With over 30 years of dance experience and 20 years of teaching, dance has been a lifelong passion that began when I started classes at just 2 years old. By the age of 12, I was already teaching multiple classes each week—an early start that sparked my love for mentoring and developing dancers of all ages. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with students ranging from energetic toddlers to senior elite competition teams across a wide variety of dance styles. My goal is to create an environment rooted in positivity, inclusion, and growth, where every dancer feels supported and inspired. I focus on building strong foundational skills, encouraging steady progression, and maintaining the important balance between pushing athletes to reach their potential and recognizing their individual limits.
